
What did you have for breakfast this morning?
I had sandwich π₯ͺ and warm milk. Hmm!ππ It was so delicious. The Sandwich had eggs, mayonnaise, and veggies with half a spoon of honey. Hmn! It was heaven on Earth. Then the milk; so rich and warm! π€ It set me in a perfect mood for the day.
Let’s imagine I had eaten it the boring way. It would have been bread with butter and cold milk. There is no way I will eat that and be so excited about my breakfast!

Is your food not intriguing? Then it needs more creativity. Food carries an atmosphere of happiness around it. Imagine someone suddenly walks up to you right now and hands you a box of chicken for free. How happy you would be! It’s an automatic reaction. Food helps our bodies to grow well in turn giving enough energy and vitality to face life. I have not not met any human that does not love food.

What do you have for breakfast? Moi-moi and pap? Great! Spice up the moi-moi with boiled egg, Titus fish and locust beanππ. My goodness! You’re having Rice and stew for lunch? That’s beautiful! Play around with your ingredients. Slice some carrots, and spring onions into your rice. Imagine how beautiful your food will come outπ. No, please imagine it. Having Plantain and vegetable for dinner. Oh, so sweet! Transform it into plantain porridge and pieces smoked fish into the equation. The vegetable can be served beside it or mixed with it like my people from the East love to doππ€. When you eat like this, you have a reason to be happy at least three times a day becayse it’s so fulfilling to have a balanced diet.

The best part of the whole gist is when you eat like this, it’s supper healthy for you. Add vegetables and fruits to your food. They strengthen your immunity to sicknesses and infections. It’s not a lie that an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
But then, I can hear someone’s thought: “Where’s the money? Sapa is on the lose.”

For this problem, I will recommend four solutions.
1. Create a food time table.
shows your intentionality about your health than planning your food and following it. Having a good timetable keeps you informed; you know what food to prepare for and what food to get excited about.
2. Save little by little.
You can save towards a particular foodstuff. Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. Have you ever had a tap in the house that refused to stop dropping water? When you out a bucket under it and come.baxk at the end of the day, what do you see? The water has become a hundred folds of a drop. Save. One 100 naira note here, one 50 naira note there will be a shield for a rainy day.
3. Buy in Bulk.
This helps you to avoid things situations like:
-extra charges that come with retail sales
-transportation fare to and from the market
-being caught unaware by the sudden hike of food price in the market.
4. Change your mindset.
It’s not expensive to live healthy. Let me show you a truth; without being conscious of it, we spend money on many unnecessary and frivolous things. The same amount of money that will get a bottle of carbonated drink and a piece of sausage can also get some carrots, oranges, and watermelon. Do the maths. Eating well keeps your body in good health and safe from infirmities. I would rather spend 500 naira for a plate of beans, fried plantain, and few cuts of pineapple than spend 2000 naira on a pack of medicine. Prevention will always be better than cure.
