Poet’s Note

Hello, thank you for coming into Life Bite today again. It’s been a great walk so far, because you’ve been here all along❤️. THANK YOU!!! 💖💕💕💕😘😍🤗
This morning, while going through one of my old diaries, I stumbled on a poem. It must have been one of the poems I wrote when I was overwhelmed with emotions and I probably forgot it between the pages of my diary. Writing helps me communicate what I feel, how I see things, and I tell others about what’s on my mind because I know that I’m not the only one thinking what I think, there are millions of people with the line of thoughts I have too. (Because I’ve seen others say they think of the same things I think of, and I’m like, for real? You’ve imagined a trailer full of strawberry 🍓 coated cheese balls before?😳😅😅😄. Well that’s on a lighter note🤭). We may just be on the way to getting the answer to many of our silent questions.
This particular poem was written when I was going through some refining. It’s my story, a poem that tells how I found the motivation and reason to be the real Me. I hope that someone reading this can find life and motivation to become the better version they were made to be like I have. Happy reading! ❤️

Because I Love You

In the midst of my confusion
And lack of confidence
And cowardice,
I have realized that
I have to do something for you.
I want to elevate your heart,
I really want to bring you joy,
I must make you happy.

I have tried so many ways
To make myself show the world
The light that I carry,
My spirit has constantly
Reminded me of your commandments,
Of your instructions to Go, Arise, to Come
To Be, to Speak, to Proclaim,
But my flesh is so weak.
And each time I find a motivation,
I always realize that it is not enough
And it doesn’t sustain me
Till the next day,
And that I cannot find a motivation
To spur me up anymore.
Sometimes, I wish
That I could get a remote to replay my life
So that I can live it again
And give up on this one.
Maybe that way, I’ll be careful
To keep myself from falling
For the trap of Self Condemnation
Of Comparison and lack of Self-Confidence.

But I opened my eyes this morning
And I found a reason to live the life you have called me to live.
I found a motivation again.
But this is not one to fade like the rest.
It will not let me alone,
It will sustain me for life
I mean LIFE!
Because it is eternal.
I found a reason to shine my light
I found a motivation
That will remain the same motivation for me forever,
And when you ask me who my motivation is tomorrow,
I’ll tell you it’s him.
When you ask me next year,
I’ll tell you it’s him.
And when you ask me
When I’m old and on my death bed,
I’ll tell you it’s still him
Because I have fallen in love
With the one that loves my own soul.

So the reason I’ll speak
Is because I know that when I do
It puts a deep smile on his face
I’ll be me
Because of him.
The only thing that can
Make me be the active,
Productive and fruitful me
That I was made to be
Is him.
And I know it’s more than
Enough motivation
It’s something deeper,
It’s a journey into the real definition of Love
A journey into the depths of Love.
