In this chapter, we’ll be learning the qualities of a food minister. Yes that’s right😌; the qualities👌. Somebody is like “Do you still need certain qualities to work in the Feeding Ministry?” oh, it’s a total YES, dear😊. The Feeding Ministry is really not a joke. When we speak of the Father’s business, we’re speaking serious job. Do well to read through these qualities, it will serve as an authencity-scale for the food minister. Okay number one.

QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL FOOD MINISTER

LOVE-
Somebody, yes you! Define love for me. Love is what? Don’t check your dictionary, dear, you know it. Don’t look too far, Love is God! 😊 That’s the perfect definition of love. God is love himself. If you have God, you have love dear. 1John 4:16
“… God is love and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him…”

You cannot have true love outside of God.

You can exhibit care, affection, help and anything close to love, but you can only show true, unconditional love when you have God. Only God can teach you how to truly love.

As a food minister, you need to have love for humanity. You need to have unconditional love for people, for family for your friends and most importantly for strangers. Love for humanity is the driving force in this ministry. It makes helping easy. It makes teaching, catering, praying, giving and caring really easy.

When you love someone, you can go any mile to make life good for him or her. Protecting them is top priority on your list. As a food minister, you cannot survive in this ministry without love for humanity. It’s like attempting to cook without fire, oh dear, you’re on a long thing!🤦‍♀️

You don’t love your neighbor? You can’t be in this ministry.

“… If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant…”
1 Corinthians 13:3‭-‬4 AMP

Dear, love is deep!

What kept Christ going in his ministry on earth, what gave him the strength and passion to be a committed teacher to multitudes of people who came to him was the love he had for humanity. Christ was madly in love with humanity. He was pained when he saw us in pain, sadness, oppression and bondage, so he asked what the solution to our pain was. He found out it was his death and he, because of the deep love he has for humanity, willingly put his life down so that we will be free. See what great redemption that we have now!

Be honest, dear, can you experience a love deeper? I can’t! I cannot! This is how far love can take you. When you have true and deep love for mankind, you will make an uneraseable mark that can never be ignored on the sands of time, because the fruits of your love will be a way to salvation for many.
Love is the driving force in this ministry, it is your fuel! Listen to me, all that you will do here, every mark you will make on this field, it will be from the springs of love. It is what will keep you going when you’re tired. It is what will make you give your last change to a hungry family, it is what will make you give your meal to a hungry girl pulling your cloth and asking for food. It is what keeps you up, day and night, brainstorming and planning how to save the hungry and poor from their poor life.

Love is the basic quality of the Feeding Ministry. No love, no feeding ministry.

Pray this: Father God, thank you for loving me. Thank you for sending christ to die for me so that I can be saved. Please lord, help me to love like you do. Help me to love mankind like you do. Let love be the foundation of every of my actions. Please, lord, teach me how to love, and help me to obey you. In Jesus name, Amen.
